I am an artist & teacher creating artwork with clay, code, and craft techniques.

Examples of my recent work & process can be found here: Instagram: @tom_lauerman

I have designed and built a number of 3D clay printers. Printing is the main way in which the objects I make are materialized.

I occasionally post videos about this process here: YouTube: @TomLauerman

My work begins in a digital space and is later materialized in clay. Recently I have created hybrid digital/physical works via claymation, illustration, and interactive 3D models.

Some of these digital works can be seen & collected here: objkt.com: Tom Lauerman

I have taught classes and workshops for a number of years and occasionally take on freelance work in the areas of 3D printing, 3D scanning, and 3D modeling.
